Re: Did You Know?
Its a shame that soda companies put in dye to color their soda. I would drink it if it were any color, as long as I knew it was safe. I'd rather not be putting chemicals in my body and drinking naturally any color soda then to put chemicals in my body (even though I DO drink soda)

Re: Did You Know?
well i dont really mind... brown is a kind of unappealing color, but they cant really change now because its too well known! everybody would be like WHAT?!???!?!?!?!?! they changed the color of coke???
Re: Did You Know?
and pepsi, and also, its not brown, its caramel colored. when i picture brown, i think of solid...like this:
Brown
Caramel
*Srry for the poor colors, there are only so many to choose from on the list.*
Anyway, it doesnt really matter, brown, caramel, i still understand what you're saying.
Maybe it's just us Americans. Everyone here knows about proper health, but everyone is overweight and obese. Taking away the artificial colors from soda's would be a small, but helpful thing to just help get a little chemicals out of our bodies. But let's face it, soda is good!

Re: Did You Know?
lol! anyway, coke is brown isnt it... almost the EXACT color you posted above as brown... definately nowhere near that horrible greeny-carmamel color (maybe it was green to begin with then, lol)
Re: Did You Know?
well, if you look on the ingredients list, it shows up as "Caramel Colors" or something along those lines. brown pretty much = caramel lol. it looks brown because its in a dark container where it is more concentrated. if you layed it out in an extremely long pan, so that the height of it was less then a centimeter, then it wouldnt be brown, more like transparent tootsie rolls (if you have those in the UK)
